We have quite the mystery on our hands on Smackdown Live. Aiden English is teasing that Lana did something in Milwaukee that Rusev wouldn’t be too happy about. Aiden claims he will be showing us video evidence this week on the show. This angle has gotten people talking since Smackdown Live and fans are tossing out their own personal theories on what happened in Milwaukee. Here are some theories about what possibly happened:
– Let’s start with the most popular theory, which is that Lana cheated on Rusev in Milwaukee. Ever since the storyline was set-up on Smackdown, this has been the most talked about possibility. This would either be with Aiden himself or with another guy that Aiden has footage of. I personally don’t think that WWE is going to go down this route but it is one of the most talked about ideas from fans.
– Another popular theory making the rounds is that this will have something to do with the Rock. A few years ago, the Rock referenced doing the “Wisconsin Wheelbarrow” during a wild night with Lana. Since Milwaukee is in the state of Wisconsin, some fans think that this could be a way to bring the Rock back to WWE television. The timing is interesting too since the 1000th episode of Smackdown takes place on October 16th. The Rock will more than likely be a part of that show. This would be a lot of fun but I don’t think WWE is trying to build towards a Rock vs Rusev match anytime soon.
So What Do We Think Happened?
I have two theories on what could happen:
– The first theory is that Aiden English has Lana on camera, trashing ‘Rusev Day’. Maybe Lana thought that the slogan was stupid when it first started and Aiden has it on camera. Lana didn’t end up joining Rusev and Aiden until later on, so this could make some sense from a storyline point of view. The idea would be that Aiden wants to show Rusev that Lana hasn’t always supported him. This would drive a wedge between Rusev and Lana, which is what Aiden wants. Something like this seems more likely to me than a cheating angle.
– The second theory has to do with the last time that Smackdown Live was in Milwaukee. The last time the show was in the city was the October 24th, 2017 episode of Smackdown. Rusev and Aiden English both didn’t appear on the show. Lana did appear on the show but as the manager of Tamina. My conspiracy theory is that this could somehow lead to the return of Tamina. Tamina has been out of action since January after suffering a torn rotator cuff. Several months have now passed and Tamina should be ready to return soon. Maybe this leads to an Aiden and Tamina vs Rusev and Lana match? I am not sure how the storyline would exactly play out but maybe Lana trashed Tamina or something while in Milwaukee. This seems like a stretch but I wouldn’t rule it out.
