The main event of Monday Night RAW this week was the match between Kane and Braun Strowman. The winner was supposed to earn themselves a match against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. The match between Kane and Strowman ended in a double count-out, giving us no decisive victor and opponent for Brock.

Let’s speculate on what the ending of RAW means for the Royal Rumble.
Scenario 1) WWE will be doing a Triple Threat match at the Royal Rumble for the Universal Title: Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman vs Kane. The count-out finish was a way to give both of them a claim at the title match.
Why this makes sense:
- The biggest reason would be so Braun doesn’t have to get pinned again by Brock. It seems more than likely that Brock vs Roman Reigns is still the plan for Wrestlemania. As a result, Brock is going to likely retain at the Rumble. With the triple threat, Kane is able to be the guy who takes the pin from Lesnar, protecting Strowman in defeat.

Scenario 2) WWE goes with a rematch between Braun and Kane over the next few weeks. This would be the direction that they go if they want Brock to be in a singles match at the Rumble.
Seems more likely that a triple threat happens. Brock returns next week and if we had to guess, he will say that he wants to face both of them.
What scenario do you think is more likely? What would you like to see happen?
