Kane returned on Monday Night RAW this week in shocking fashion. Kane came out from under the ring during the steel cage match between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns. Kane attacked Reigns, allowing Strowman to pick up the victory. He will also be a member of the Miz’s team at TLC, where they will take on the Shield in a 5 on 3 handicap match.
Let’s speculate on a few reasons why Kane came back to RAW and why he attacked Reigns.
The big thing that a lot of fans are picking up is that Kane is likely looking for revenge on Roman after he retired his brother: The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33. This makes perfect sense from a storyline perspective and justifies why Kane would attack Roman.
The other thing that some fans are speculating about is if it will also lead to Kane getting retired by Roman. Kane is currently running for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. It seems like his wrestling days are coming to an end very soon. Roman could retire Kane, giving him both the Brothers of Destruction on his retirement list.
Roman retiring Undertaker and Kane in the SAME year would be massive for him. If this is what they’re doing, I’m down.
