Kurt Angle announced on RAW this week that the rules for the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match will be the exact same as the Men’s. That means there will be 30 competitors and the winner will be going to Wrestlemania to challenge for the Women’s Championship.
It looks like we can safely assume that Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will not be defending their Women’s Titles at the event. That makes things very interesting for the Women’s Rumble in terms of numbers.
By our count, that leaves 19 Women eligible for the match from the current roster. We have not included Maryse, Nikki Bella, and Maria Kanellis since they are not active.

That leaves us with 11 potential surprise entrants in the Women’s Royal Rumble. If we had to guess, that will be split between NXT Call-Ups and returns from Women of the past. Regardless, that is a pretty large amount of spots to fill.
