Speculation On Big Cass vs Samoa Joe On Smackdown

This upcoming weeks episode of Smackdown Live will feature a qualifying match for the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Samoa Joe will take on Big Cass to determine the final entrant in the match. Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, the Miz, Rusev, Bobby Roode, Kevin Owens and a member of the New Day have all secured a spot.

So who will be joining them?

I think that it will be Samoa Joe winning on Tuesday and for a couple of good reasons. Let me explain:

1) With Samoa Joe losing to Roman Reigns at Backlash, I am guessing (and hoping) that WWE will give Joe the win here to give him some momentum. Joe should be one of the top players for Smackdown Live moving forward.

2) The feud between Daniel Bryan and Big Cass looks like it will be heading into another match at Money in the Bank. As a result, Cass winning here doesn’t make much sense.

3) Cass is going into the match with a bad leg after Daniel Bryan targeted his leg on Smackdown this week in London. Just like Bryan lost to Rusev when he wasn’t 100%, Cass will lose to Joe when he isn’t at full strength. This protects Cass a little bit when he is pinned by Joe.

I think that Joe is a safe pick to win. I also think that he would be a great Money in the Bank briefcase holder. Your thoughts?
