Kurt Angle gave Brock Lesnar an ultimatum for Monday Night RAW tonight. Either he shows up to agree on a Title defense or he will be stripped of the WWE Universal Championship.
So what is going to happen on RAW tonight? Let’s speculate.
I think that there are two real options here. The first is the most obvious. Brock appears on RAW (or via satellite) and agrees to face Bobby Lashley at Summerslam for the Title. There are rumors that Brock has one more match left on his WWE contract, which would make sense for Summerslam.
The second option would be for Brock to appear on RAW tonight. Braun Strowman would cash-in to officially take the Title off of him. This would be the option if Brock doesn’t want to defend the Title at Summerslam. With Brock heading to the UFC, he probably doesn’t want to risk getting injured. Any sort of injury at Summerslam could cost him his UFC Heavyweight Championship fight against Daniel Cormier (and millions of dollars). As a result, the safe option for him would be to take a couple of moves from Strowman on RAW and drop the belt that way.
As I am writing this, I am leaning more towards Brock dropping the belt prior to Summerslam. I just don’t think that he will risk his UFC super fight for a match against Bobby Lashley at Summerslam. Too much for him to lose and not enough for him to gain. At the end of the day, Brock is a businessman and is going to do what’s best for him and his bank account.
My gut says that Strowman cashes in prior to Summerslam. How about you?
