WWE announced that Baron Corbin will be defending his WWE United States Title at Clash of Champions in a triple threat match. Corbin will face both Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode.

Let’s speculate on how the match will end at Clash of Champions. Here are some potential scenarios for how this match will end.
Scenario 1a) Dolph Ziggler is only in the match to be the one who takes the pinfall loss. WWE wants to extend the feud between Roode & Corbin but doesn’t want either of them taking a pinfall loss right now. As a result, Corbin is able to retain by pinning Ziggler. There hasn’t been much storyline development in the feud between Corbin and Roode, so they could easily keep it going until the Royal Rumble.
Scenario 1b) The exact same scenario as above except Roode wins the title by pinning Ziggler. Keeps the feud going between Roode & Corbin for the next several months and neither of them take a pin.

Scenario 2) Dolph Ziggler shocks the wrestling world and wins the title. Ziggler recently spoke about being upset with his position in WWE and also that his contract expires soon. Maybe WWE gives him a title run to convince him to re-sign to another deal? Not likely but a possibility.
