Monday Night RAW this week was supposed to determine Brock Lesnar’s next challenger for the WWE Universal Title. The match between Kane and Braun Strowman ended in a double count-out. Brock will be appearing on RAW next week, where we will likely find out the next development in this storyline.
For those who can’t wait, here is a spoiler on Brock’s Royal Rumble match.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), WWE is going with a triple threat match at the Royal Rumble: Brock Lesnar vs Kane vs Braun Strowman for the Universal Title.
Meltzer says that this was a direct call from Vince McMahon. There were a lot of other options pitched but Vince decided on the triple threat.

Meltzer speculates that Kane is only in the match to be the one who gets pinned. Vince doesn’t want Brock or Braun to get pinned. As a result, Kane will likely be pinned by Brock, which allows Braun to still look strong in defeat.
