WWE announced some big signings this week: Ricochet, War Machine, and Candice LeRae. It appears as if another one could be coming very soon.
A name with a lot of buzz right now is Ethan Carter III (aka EC3), who recently was written off Impact Wrestling TV at their recent taping. We have an update on his status.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer reports that EC3 is confirmed to be heading to WWE.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider also reports that EC3 was spotted at the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday.

As we noted prior, he pulled out of an independent show that takes place on the same day as the Royal Rumble. This will certainly lead to speculation about a potential Rumble appearance.
EC3 spent a few years in WWE’s developmental system prior to leaving for TNA. He wrestled under the name Derrick Bateman.
