Stephanie McMahon was recently interviewed by The Mirror to promote WWE’s upcoming events in the United Kingdom. She spoke on a wide variety of topics about her job in the company and the ‘Women’s Revolution’ that we have seen in WWE.
One of the parts of the interview that was most intriguing was when she was asked about the possibility of a WWE Pay-Per-View in the United Kingdom.
This is something that fans in the UK have been begging for, but hasn’t happened in the past several years. Her response, might give them some hope.
When asked about fans constantly asking about a WWE Pay-Per-View in the UK, Stephanie said:
“Yes, I know, I keep wondering that myself”
On if the recent United Kingdom Championship Tournament and NXT Takeover: London means that odds are increasing for a UK Pay-Per-View one day:
“I think they are because WWE always listens to our fanbase and the UK fans are pretty loud, pretty rowdy in a great way, and you know we are constantly evaluating that. Personally I would love to see it. I know it would be incredible”
Certainly a positive for fans in the UK. We also posted a few days ago that Triple H had a much different response when fans chanted “We Want ‘Mania” at him.
