Worst #3 – Dolph Ziggler’s “Re-Debut”

In case you missed it, Dolph Ziggler impersonated John Cena, Macho Man Randy Savage and Naomi’s entrances on Smackdown Live this week as a part of his ‘re-debut’.

The thing that I had an issue with was Ziggler taking a shot at Naomi for essentially only being a star in WWE because of her dance/ entrance. I get that Ziggler is a heel and wants to make people angry but it seems silly for WWE to take a shot at Naomi here. Cena I understand as he is untouchable, but does WWE really want to push the narrative that all Naomi has going for her is a cool entrance and some dance moves?

Regardless, I am not really feeling Ziggler’s new direction. I am still willing to give it a chance over the next few weeks. He will completely sell me if he comes out to ‘Cult Of Personality’ next week.

Thumbs down on Ziggler’s new direction, for this week at least.

Best #3 – WWE Did A GREAT Job Of Building Next Week’s Show

Next weeks episode of Smackdown Live will be a themed episode from Las Vegas. The show will be titled: ‘Sin City Smackdown Live’ and already has some big matches announced.

Here is the card for the show next week:

• – Natalya vs Naomi for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
• – The Usos vs The New Day for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship (in a Sin City Street Fight)
• – AJ Styles vs Tye Dillinger for the WWE United States Championship
• – The show will feature a Vince McMahon appearance!
• – Plus, the Mae Young Classic finals will air immediately following Smackdown on the WWE Network.

The show already feels huge and WWE did a good job this week in making fans excited about next weeks show.
