In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer provided some more information on Sasha Banks’s status. He also provided some more details on what Neville is up to.
Neville Update
Meltzer says that Neville was in talks with some promotions but said that he wasn’t ready to start anytime soon due to some legal issues. He has apparently went off the grid and hasn’t been responding to promoters as of late.
Will Ospreay apparently wants to face Neville at Wrestle Kingdom but his future remains unclear.
Sasha Update
Sasha Banks was recently pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge due to injury. She was replaced by Mickie James as Bobby Lashley’s tag team partner. Meltzer says that Sasha’s injury is being kept very quiet by WWE.
The only thing that Meltzer has been told is that Sasha is taking time off for what is being described as a “health-related issue”.
In other Sasha news, she will be appearing on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out on Friday. The appearance was filmed earlier this month.
