On Tuesday, the Miz faced off against Jeff Hardy in an open challenge for the WWE United States Championship. Hardy won the match after hitting the Swanton Bomb. With the loss, the Miz doesn’t have a scheduled match for Extreme Rules.

The Miz will be taking part in the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game in Washington, DC on July 15th. This happens to be the same day as Extreme Rules. As a result, it looks like the Miz isn’t going to be interfering in any matches. Here is a video of the Miz announcing his appearance:
