SANITY hasn’t made their debut on Smackdown Live yet after getting called up to the main roster in the ‘Superstar Shake-Up’. There have been plenty of rumors floating around about why they haven’t appeared yet. This includes WWE creative not having any plans for them and them already being overlooked by Vince McMahon.

I have a theory on why WWE is waiting so long to have SANITY officially debut on the main roster. Obviously, take with a grain of salt since it is only a theory.
Why Is WWE Stalling?
First of all, I am not buying the idea that WWE has already lost interest in them. The idea behind the faction came from Triple H, who is rumored to be very high on the gimmick. I think there is a more logical explanation here.
I think that the reason why WWE is stalling with SANITY right now is that they want Nikki Cross to be with the group full-time. Many fans were NOT happy when SANITY was called up to the main roster without Cross as she plays a big role in the faction. Nikki has a match at NXT Takeover: Chicago 2 against Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Title. To me, it doesn’t really make sense for her to win the Women’s Title or stay in NXT. I think she is ready for the main roster. The NXT Women’s division at the moment is lacking top Title contenders so they decided to use Cross here for this one match.
In this scenario, WWE would wait until after Money in the Bank weekend for SANITY to make their debut. I think that instead of having the group debut without Nikki, they decided to keep them off television completely. That way, they will debut with Nikki instead of having to introduce her later on. SANITY is the type of gimmick where their first impression will be key to their success. I think for the best first impression possible, they should wait for Cross to be involved.
The moral of the story for fans of SANITY is to be patient. I think there is a good reason why WWE is stalling with them right now and it will end up being better for the group in the long-run.
