Top 5 Reasons Why Bray Wyatt Needs To Defeat Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33.

4. Wyatt Family Turmoil Isn’t Finished

Although Randy Orton defeated Luke Harper at Elimination Chamber, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the turmoil within the Wyatt Family is still over.

Luke Harper is bent on destroying Randy Orton as he feels Orton stole his only family away from him. Not only that, but the match between these two showed that there was chemistry between these two.

In my opinion, Luke Harper may actually be involved in the match at WrestleMania between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. It goes back to Luke Harper wanting revenge on Orton, and so he costs Orton the WWE championship at the “Showcase of Immortals,” as he assumes this title match means the world to “The Viper.”

The whole turmoil storylines seem to last a while, and I believe this one will last for a while.

3. The New Era

If you have read past “Top 5 Reasons Why” by me, this is a common reason why things should or shouldn’t happen, and this is no different. In reality, most of the reasons why things should or shouldn’t happen is because of the initial emphasis that the announcers and WWE have put on in regards to “The New Era.”

That was one of the reasons why the brand split/extension occurred but that is a discussion for another time. Now grant it, Bray Wyatt has been around since 2010, and his original gimmick was Husky Harris, a member of New Nexus under the leadership of CM Punk. After that gimmick didn’t work, he was sent to the original NXT and repackaged as the “Eater of Worlds” and the wrestler that we know now.

While he’s been around for 6-7 years, he is a part of a newer generation that will lead the WWE into the future, and being as NXT is a building ground for newer talent, we can consider that as a factor too. For those that think that this point is invalid, let’s name a few wrestlers that people believe are a part of “The New Era” that were a part of the original NXT: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Neville, just to name a few.

They’ve been in WWE for awhile, but they are a part of the newer generation of stars. If Randy Orton defeats Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, it is a slap in the face of wrestlers that are a part of “The New Era.”
