Triple H was recently a guest on the Gorilla Position podcast where he spoke on a wide variety of topics. One of the highlights was when he discussed how much Women’s wrestling has evolved in WWE over the past few years and how proud he is of the female talent on the roster.

Triple H spoke about how proud he is of the Women’s talent in WWE:
“We changed the business with a handful of girls in NXT – Paige, Emma, Natalya and Charlotte and then Sasha and Bayley. I am so proud of them. I feel like a dad – I am more nervous than when I walk out at WrestleMania. I have watched them become stars and represent themselves so well in interviews”
He continued:
“When you build something from nothing and they deliver to that level it makes you so proud. They have come so far, so fast and will continue to get that opportunity because they deliver.”
Triple H has been a big supporter of Women’s wrestling and has given the ladies of NXT tons of opportunities to showcase their abilities in the past. This has translated onto the main roster as we have seen WWE’s female athletes get more ring time and matches.

There is also a rumored WWE Women’s tournament coming in 2017 (read more here) that is the brain child of Triple H. He is certainly doing his part to further Women’s wrestling as best he can.
