Dr. Shelby made his return on the July 2nd episode of Monday Night RAW. Shelby is the counselor who is trying to help Sasha Banks and Bayley work out their issues with one another. Fans will also remember him from his work with Team Hell No several years ago.

We have an update on Shelby’s future with WWE.
In an interesting move, WWE filed for the trademark for “Dr. Shelby” on June 29th. Here is what the filing is for:
“Entertainment services in the nature of professional wrestling; providing information on the internet in the nature of professional wrestling”
This seems to be a hint that he could be sticking around WWE television for a while. Certainly seems like they wouldn’t file for this trademark if they didn’t have some plans for the character.
