Charlotte Flair vs Asuka – Smackdown Women’s Championship
I originally had Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch here but WWE has decided to have Asuka switch brands. We will now have Charlotte vs Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
This should be a really fun match. This was certainly one of the matches that I was most looking forward to when Asuka was called up to the main roster. They have a chance to really showcase their talents here.
As for the match itself, I think that we will see Asuka remain undefeated. She will defeat Charlotte to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
There is a chance for a Carmella cash-in, but I think that she will fail if she does. I just don’t see them taking Asuka’s streak with a cash-in. I think they are going to continue to showcase Asuka’s dominance in the coming months.
PREDICTION: Asuka wins the Title.
Sheamus & Cesaro vs Braun Strowman & Samoa Joe – RAW Tag Team Championships
Braun Strowman will be facing off against Sheamus and Cesaro for the RAW Tag Team Titles at Wrestlemania 34. The only question is, who will be his tag team partner?
I can’t think of anyone better than Samoa Joe for this role, who is rumored to return soon. Joe and Braun would be an awesome team that I would love to see have a short reign.
If not Joe, I have seen some fans speculate about Braun teaming with Elias. We will have to wait and see.
PREDICTION: Braun wins the Titles, regardless of who his partner is.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
This match has been officially confirmed by WWE. If Shane and Daniel win, Owens and Zayn remain fired from Smackdown Live. If Owens and Zayn win, they are reinstated.
I would find it pretty hard to pick against Daniel Bryan winning his return match in New Orleans, the same place where he had one of the most memorable moments in Wrestlemania history (at Wrestlemania 30). As a result, I do have Daniel and Shane winning.
With a draft or the ‘Superstar Shake-Up’ likely coming after Wrestlemania, WWE can work around the stipulation. I am guessing they will have RAW draft Owens and Zayn to officially reinstate them.
PREDICTION: Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon win. Owens and Zayn move to RAW.
