Wrestlemania 34 Preview – 8 Mistakes That WWE Should Avoid

Mistake #4: Wasting Braun Strowman’s Mystery Partner

My hopes are high for Braun Strowman’s tag team partner at Wrestlemania 34. WWE has done a great job keeping it a surprise so far and many fans are speculating on the potential options.

A mistake would be WWE wasting this on Sunday. They have a great opportunity for an awesome surprise. My personal hopes are up for someone like Samoa Joe, Neville or James Ellsworth (for the comedy).

Some examples that would be a bit anti-climatic for me:

  • Big Cass returns as his partner
  • Braun doesn’t partner with anybody

A mistake would be wasting this! Could be a great moment for a fun surprise.

Mistake #5: Cutting AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura For Time

A lot of fans will agree with me that Styles vs Nakamura is their most anticipated match of Wrestlemania 34.

The match between Nakamura and Styles at Wrestle Kingdom 10 went for about 25 minutes. I think that would be a perfect amount of time for their rematch.

I would be extremely disappointed if their match ended up going only for 15 minutes. This is a match that deserves a lot of time and has the chance to be something special.

Give this match a lot of time and let them steal the show. I don’t think a lot of people will complain if this match gets 25 minutes plus.

Mistake #6: Not Capitalizing On The Momentum Of Rusev

Rusev was tossed at the last-minute into the U.S Title match at Wrestlemania 34. I think that he should be the one who walks out with the belt.

If you watch RAW or Smackdown each week, there is no question that Rusev receives one of the loudest reactions in the company. Fans love chanting “Rusev Day” and they go nuts anytime he appears on the screen.

I think it would be a mistake from WWE to not capitalize on his momentum. Just imagine the crowd’s reaction on Sunday if he walks out with the belt?

I think it would be a mistake to not put the gold on Rusev. Also, we don’t want to ruin Rusev Day!
