WWE Draft 2019 Predictions

The WWE Draft will be taking place on the October 11th edition of Smackdown and the October 14th edition of Monday Night RAW. Here is my WWE draft 2019 predictions for things that I think will happen.

WWE Draft 2019 predictions

10) AOP Will Be Drafted To Smackdown

WWE has been airing vignettes for AOP over the past few weeks. It seems like they will be on the receiving end of a push over the next few months.

My gut says that they are going to be selected by Smackdown in the WWE Draft. I think that the Smackdown tag team division could use some strong teams and they would be a great addition to the brand.

Assuming that they stay on the blue brand, AOP vs the Revival sounds like a great feud for the Smackdown tag team belts. Both teams had some insane chemistry in NXT and I would like to see them face off again.

9) The New Day Will NOT Be Split Up In The Draft

Every time that WWE holds a Draft or a Superstar Shake-Up, fans start predicting that the New Day will be getting split up. I just don’t think that WWE is going to split up the group.

All three members have been extremely vocal about wanting to stay together as a group. They are entertaining together and I don’t think that Vince McMahon will rip them apart.

I don’t blame the fans for wanting a split. All three members of the group are talented and would likely thrive as singles stars. Big E especially is someone who I see as a future World Champion. While saying that, I don’t see a split just yet.

8) The New Day Will Move To RAW

Speaking of the New Day, I think that they will be moving from Smackdown to Monday Night RAW.

Kofi Kingston just dropped the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar. Since he was squashed by Brock, we probably aren’t going to see a rematch anytime soon. As a result, it could make the most sense to move the New Day over to the red brand for a fresh start.

The New Day moving to the red brand will help out the RAW tag team division. WWE could also do a program between Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston for the Universal Title if they wanted. As a result, I think that it would make sense for the trio to switch shows.
