WWE Extreme Rules 2018 Match Order Predictions

4) Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura – WWE United States Championship

Keeping the ball rolling at number 4 will be the United States Championship match between Jeff Hardy and Shinsuke Nakamura. Both guys are currently dealing with injuries so it will be interesting to see if they are at 100% or if they will save their best stuff for a rematch at Summerslam.

My guess is that it happens early on in the card. I have it in the number 4 spot but I could see it going on even earlier.

5) Asuka vs Carmella – Smackdown Women’s Championship (James Ellsworth Locked In A Shark Cage)

You know some shenanigans are going to take place with James Ellsworth locked inside of the shark cage. Him being in the cage and his attempts to escape will likely be the focal point of the match.

My guess is that this one takes place right in the middle of the card. I see it in the 5, 6 or 7 spot.

6) The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) vs Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) – Smackdown Tag Team Championships

Looking at the Extreme Rules card, I decided that I needed to put the Smackdown Tag Team Title match in the middle. You could make an argument that it should be one of the last few matches of the night but my gut says that it will be in the middle.

It provides the card with a really fun and anticipated match during the middle of the show. If the crowd is slowing down a bit, this can be the match that picks them back up.

My guess is that it will be the 6th match of the night.

7) Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor

I think that Corbin vs Balor will be put somewhere in the middle of the card. You could probably argue that this match could go anywhere from about 2-7.

My guess is that they put it at number 7, right before the biggest matches of the night. No real reason for it, other than it provides a cool down after the Smackdown Tag Team Title match that is likely to be really fun.
