8) AJ Styles vs Rusev – WWE Championship
I don’t think that the WWE Championship match will be going on last at Extreme Rules. It just doesn’t feel like WWE has been pushing the feud between Styles and Rusev enough for that to be the case.

As a result, I have it slotted in as the third final match of the night. This seems to be around the same place where WWE has been putting Styles’ matches over the past few events. I think this will follow that trend.
9) Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss – RAW Women’s Championship (Extreme Rules)
This might be a little high for some but I think Nia vs Alexa makes sense as the second final match of the night. The big factor in all of this is Ronda Rousey, who will more than likely be interfering in some way.
I think that WWE is going to want to give a big spotlight to Ronda and her feud heading into Summerslam. As a result, I think it makes sense to put this match near the end of the night.
10) Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley
This might be a bit controversial but it seems like the only match that has a legitimate chance to go on last. I think it will main event for a couple of reasons:
– The first is that this feud has received the most television time from WWE over the past few weeks. When looking at the card, this seems like the match that WWE has built up the most.
– Roman Reigns matches have been the main event of PPV events before, even with no Title on the line. We saw Roman Reigns vs Samoa Joe go on last at Backlash a few months ago with no stipulation or Title involved.
– A possible Brock Lesnar appearance. Not saying that it will happen for sure, but WWE could end the show with Brock getting involved in some way. This would obviously start the build towards Summerslam. A big moment like that would probably be saved until the end.
