WWE Great Balls Of Fire Predictions – RawView

This Sunday the WWE will present to us the inaugural Great Balls of Fire special event (I really have to stop calling them PPVs). Raw lately has shook my nerves and rattled my brain so many storylines driving @InnerN3rd twitter insane. This special event name has broken our will however the build has been a thrill.  There are so many stories going on right now on the red brand and that is welcomed with open arms. I’m not sure how many of you know this but Raw has put out many videos on this build to GBOF that has gone over a million views on YouTube.

This doesn’t happen as often as people may believe and one of those videos is from last Monday the opening Enzo Amore promo. Raw seems like it has a direction on where most if not all the talents will be going come Summerslam and I can’t wait to see how things shakeout. I guess if I had to put to text my feelings before predicting is goodness gracious Great Balls of Fire!

Preshow: WWE Cruiserweight Title Match

Neville (c) vs. Akira Tozawa w/ Titus O’Neil

This just goes to show that WWE is hitting a stride when it comes to storylines and intrigue. This preshow match has been a staple story on Raw and 205 Live each week with the addition of Titus O’Neil. If you haven’t read my RawViews (SHAME ON YOU) then I’ll clue you in and let you know I LOVE THIS TITUS character. He’s a ton of personality that can be matched with great in ring talent that lack the ability to naturally connect with the audience.

While saying all of this Neville is the most dominant champion in Light Heavyweight Title history (yes this includes you Taka Michinoku). Neville should win but only after these two guys put on a match of the night quality match. Akira Tozawa should come close to a win before Neville pulls out the victory and Titus can help hype the rematch of the century.

Winner & Still Champion: Neville

WWE Intercontinental Title Match:

The Miz (c) w/ The Miztourage vs. Dean Ambrose

If you have noticed these first two matches include a “W/Manager or Group” in the matchup. I have been dying for WWE to reintroduce managers and factions back into the WWE and they have. Its working it’s fantastic and it adds intrigue.

For all of those who are ready for this feud to be over guess what? This is the finale. The Miz is doing for the Intercontinental title what John Cena did for the US title when he held it. The Miz will win this match on Sunday and I expect another great performance for both of these men. Expect a distraction some evening of odds with Slater and Rhyno and then Maryse to ultimately cost Ambrose to be dropped by a Skull Crushing Finale.

Winner & Still Champion: The Miz
