Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
Warning: This prediction will likely piss people off. Many people want Braun Strowman to go over Roman Reigns and capitalize on his popularity. I don’t disagree with that not one bit. HOWEVER Roman Reigns openly challenged Brock Lesner for the WWE title at Summerslam and I firmly believe that will be the main event.

These two will beat the hell out of each other and it will be as physical as any other WWE match you’ve seen in a decade. Roman will win and it will be clean. Before I have tomatoes thrown at my article and you have to clean tomato juice off your screen hear me out.
After this Strowman won’t have a dance partner and neither will the loser of the world title match. Let’s just SAY that loser is Samoa Joe. Braun is very popular right now and should be turned into a face what better way to do that than by pairing him with Samoa Joe who is white-hot right now going into Summerslam.

WWE Universal Title Match:
Brock Lesner (c) w/ Paul Heyman vs. Samoa Joe
Let me get this out-of-the-way right now. Paul Heyman is not turning on Brock Lesner to help Samoa Joe win. Ok? We cool? Let’s move on. This match will be everything we want and expect this match to be which is two absolute monsters beating the hell out of each other.
I expect both me to give it their all and I also expect this to go ten minutes or so. Lesner is going to win as this is likely one of his last special events for WWE before he retires forever next year. While Samoa Joe winning would be absolutely fantastic he has already benefitted from this feud and has established himself as a true badass on Monday Nights.

There you have it folks my predictions for what could be the best special event of the year. This card is absolutely LOADED from top to bottom and I expect every match to deliver. From what I’m seeing I believe the top four matches of Summerslam for the Raw brand will be Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesner, Braun Strowman vs. Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor vs. The Miz.
