‘Great Balls Of Fire’ takes place this Sunday! The event is headlined by the match between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe for the WWE Universal Championship. Despite the silly name, the show has a really great match card. Here are 5 potential surprises that could happen!
Potential Surprise #1 – Enzo DOESN’T Get Squashed
Enzo Amore will face his former best friend and tag team partner Big Cass at ‘Great Balls Of Fire’. Everybody and their brother knows that Big Cass is probably going to defeat Enzo.
The real question is, will it be a squash match? If you ask a majority of fans, we think that many assume the match won’t go very long.
What if Enzo DIDN’T get squashed on Sunday? As we all know, one of the biggest criticisms of Enzo is that he isn’t a great in-ring worker. He has charisma and talking ability that you can’t teach but isn’t exactly AJ Styles in the ring.
Getting squashed by Big Cass won’t help him out in his singles career moving forward. We already know that Big Cass will be fine. He has the height and the look that Vince McMahon loves. Enzo on the other hand has fans calling for him to be sent to 205 Live or as a permanent manager. Maybe let him showcase a bit in the ring and prove to fans that he can be a solid singles competitor.
Still, I will be surprised if the match on Sunday isn’t a squash match.
Potential Surprise #2 – Asuka Appears!
This might sound crazy, but I think there is a chance that we could see Asuka at ‘Great Balls Of Fire’. Asuka has defeated everybody in NXT. She has nothing left to prove on the brand and is more than ready to get called up to the WWE main roster.
What if, she appeared during the RAW Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks? This could be a great way to introduce her to the WWE main roster. Especially if she took out both of them during the match.
This would also set up Asuka to have a match with Bliss and Banks at Summerslam this year.
It would be a surprise if it happens but could be a great way to introduce her. It is TIME for her to get called up.
