9) Roman Reigns Will Defeat Jinder Mahal
Probably one of the easier predictions of the card. I think that Roman Reigns will be defeating Jinder Mahal at Money in the Bank.
The bigger question I have is if this feud will extend into Extreme Rules next month or will Roman be moving back to his pursuit of the WWE Universal Championship? We will have to wait and see. I don’t see Reigns losing to Jinder though.
10) AJ Styles Will Retain After Wearing A Cup
AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match. This is a pretty tough match to predict. Would WWE really have Nakamura come up short again?
My gut says that Styles is going to win here. I think he is going to end up wearing a cup in order to protect himself from the low-blow of Nakamura. After Nakamura hurts his arm, Styles will win the match and retain the Title. I just feel like there has been too much emphasis on the low-blow for it not to backfire on Nakamura at some point.
With Styles winning, both guys will move on to new things.
11) Lashley Will Destroy Sami Zayn
I have a gut feeling that it isn’t going to be a great night for Sami Zayn at Money in the Bank. I think that after the horrendous Lashley sister segments, WWE is going to just have Lashley defeat Sami pretty quickly.
The goal will be to showcase Lashley as a serious threat. Beating Sami with ease will accomplish that. I am a Sami fan but I don’t think this one ends well for him.
12) The Men’s Ladder Match Will Go On Last
Since we think the Women’s ladder match will open the show, we also think that the Men’s ladder match will go on last. I think this probably makes the most sense and spaces the matches out nicely.
I really can’t see any other match going on last as the main event. Maybe Styles vs Nakamura but that is only if they want to do a cash-in on the same night.
