5) The Hacker To Be Revealed At Money In The Bank?
Somebody has been hacking Smackdown over the past several weeks but they have yet to reveal themselves. A recent video has fans thinking that we could be finding out the identity of the hacker during the Money in the Bank PPV.
During the video, the hacker is seen punching in a cell phone code. That code is 05-10-20. This seems like a big hint that something will be happening at the Money in the Bank PPV, which takes place on May 10th, 2020 (or 05-10-20):
My Take:
- I could definitely see the hacker getting involved in the fatal 4-way match for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. The hacker was teasing something to do with the tag division a few weeks ago, so this would make sense. Either way, I am enjoying this hacker angle so far.
4) Who Is Behind The Hacks On Smackdown?
So who is the mystery hacker? In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that it could actually be two people.
According to Meltzer, there are rumors that the hackers are Mustafa Ali and Chad Gable. Here is what he wrote:
The rumor going around is Mustafa Ali is behind this. But there’s also been talk it may end up as both Ali and a remade Chad Gable, since the Shorty G gimmick needs to be done away with anyway.
My Take:
- Gable and Ali as a tag team would be interesting. With The Usos out of action for a while, Gable and Ali could be a nice fit for the tag team division. Both guys are too talented to be kept off television for this long.
