Summer Rae hasn’t been seen on WWE television for a very long time. She announced back in November that she was dealing with an injury and that is why fans haven’t seen her. Now, several months later, WWE fans have still not seen her make a return.
We have some good news for fans that want to see Summer Rae return to the ring.
According to a report from Squared Circle Sirens, Summer is currently working out at the WWE Performance Center in Florida.
She has been participating in drills in hopes of being cleared in the very near future to compete. If you follow our page, you know that a WWE star at the Performance Center usually indicates that they will be back really soon.
The report also says that WWE possibly wants Summer to participate in the Smackdown Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania 33 if she is cleared in time. Alexa Bliss will defend her title against any female on the roster, leaving the match open-ended.
Summer is a member of the RAW roster but she hasn’t been used since the draft (due to injury). WWE could call her a free agent, similar what they did with Jack Swagger several months ago when he moved to Smackdown.

One thing is clear, WWE fans should expect to see Summer Rae in the very near future.
