WWE News On If Kurt Angle Will Wrestle Another Match In WWE

Kurt Angle was announced back in January as the headliner for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class. This was great news for WWE fans who haven’t seen Angle with WWE in over a decade. A burning question still remains: will we see Kurt Angle wrestle another match in a WWE ring?

Angle has spoken in numerous interviews about his desire to come back for at least one more match. WWE has remained hesitant because of his previous injury history. When the Hall of Fame news dropped, Angle made it clear that he had only spoken to Triple H about the Hall of Fame and not wrestling.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), there is reportedly plans for Kurt Angle to wrestle in WWE. The timeline is unclear and it is likely to be after Wrestlemania 33 but the current plan is for Angle to have another match.

The report says that it would be in a limited capacity and Angle would have to pass a physical first.

This is good news for fans that want to see him compete again. We really can’t expect him to wrestle the full-time WWE schedule after the career he has had. One more match or  a handful of matches would be excellent. Maybe even in a managers role (cough, American Alpha, cough), who sometimes competes?

There was also a rumor last week that Angle could be named General Manager of RAW after Wrestlemania 33. Maybe this turns into a physical role?
