15 WWE Legends Who You Might Not Know Wrestled For New Japan Pro Wrestling

12) Christian

You might not know that Christian actually wrestled a match for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Not only did he wrestle for the promotion, he wrestled at their biggest event of the year: Wrestle Kingdom. Wrestle Kingdom is described as NJPW’s version of Wrestlemania.

Christian wrestled with NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom II in 2008. This was due to the working relationship between TNA and NJPW at the time.

Christian teamed with AJ Styles and Petey Williams to defeat Milano Collection A. T, Minoru & Prince Devitt (better known to you as Finn Balor).

11) Chyna

One that might shock you is Chyna, who had a tour with New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2002. Chyna wrestled over a dozen matches for the company.

This included a singles match against Masahiro Chono.

Here is Chyna showing off some moves against a young Hiroshi Tanahashi:

10) Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan has actually wrestled on many occasions for New Japan Pro Wrestling. This includes facing legends like the Great Muta, Antonio Inoki, Masahiro Chono and Tatsumi Fujinami.

Here is a photo of the match between Hogan and the Great Muta at NJPW Wrestling Dantaku in 1993. Hogan was the WWF Champion and Muta was the IWGP Heavyweight Champion at the time:
