4) Samoa Joe

WWE Intercontinental Championship

Samoa Joe has had an awesome 2017. I think that he will follow it up by having an even better 2018, which will include a few title reigns of his own.

I think Joe will win the Intercontinental Title over the next year. If not, I think that he will move over to Smackdown and potentially win the WWE Title.

I think that it is very likely that Joe will win his first main roster belt in 2018.

5) Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Championship

I have been a little underwhelmed by Shinsuke Nakamura since he was called up to the WWE main roster. That isn’t really his fault and is more based on his booking. I think that 2018 will see Nakamura find his footing and put on some classic matches.

He is on the right track with his Royal Rumble victory. This sets us up for a classic match between AJ Styles and Nakamura at Wrestlemania. If we had to guess, Nakamura will win.

I would be pretty surprised if he doesn’t end up holding the belt before the year is over.

6) Mustafa Ali

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Mustafa Ali is one of the most exciting Cruiserweight’s to watch. He is incredibly talented inside of the ring and stands out in a division that doesn’t get a lot of fanfare.

Ali seems like a great candidate to win the Cruiserweight Title tournament. He has consistently been putting on fun matches on 205 Live and is always entertaining to watch.

I expect Ali to taste Cruiserweight gold before 2018 is finished.
