7) The Authors of Pain

RAW or Smackdown Tag Team Championships

I think I can say with confidence that the Authors of Pain will be called up to the WWE main roster in 2018. They really have nothing more to do in NXT and either tag team division (RAW or Smackdown) could use them.

They have proved that they can put on some incredible matches and aren’t just prototypical big men. I have high expectations for them on the main roster and I think that they will thrive.

Whenever they do get called up, it will only be a matter of time in my eyes before they win Championship gold. Either tag team division could use them and I think they will become Champions fairly quick.

8) Nia Jax

RAW or Smackdown Women’s Championship

I was actually pretty surprised that Nia Jax didn’t end up winning the Women’s Championship in 2017. I figured that she would hold the title at least once but it never happened.

I don’t think that will be the case in 2018. With Asuka on RAW, I think that WWE is going to eventually put Nia on Smackdown to separate them. This will allow Nia to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

If they keep her on RAW, I still think she has a chance to win the belt before 2018 is over.

9) Sami Zayn

WWE Championship or Tag Team Championship

I predicted that Sami Zayn would win his first WWE Championship in 2017. This obviously didn’t happen but Zayn has been a part of the main event storyline over the past few months on Smackdown Live.

2018 seems like the time for Zayn to become a Champion on the main roster. Zayn could find a way to become WWE Champion due to his current role in the main event scene. Or he could win the Smackdown Tag Team Titles with Kevin Owens.

Regardless, I think Zayn will hold some gold in 2018.
