Here are our WWE Royal Rumble 2019 match card predictions. We predict what we think will happen in every match that has been confirmed for the PPV.
9) Buddy Murphy vs Kalisto vs Akira Tozawa vs Hideo Itami (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)
It was announced that Buddy Murphy will be defending his Cruiserweight Title in a fatal 4-way match at the Royal Rumble. The match is going to be Murphy vs Tozawa vs Kalisto vs Itami.
WWE confirmed on Smackdown that this match will be taking place on the kickoff show of the event. My guess is that it will be the first match of the night.
I already felt like Murphy would be winning but WWE putting the match on the kickoff show seals my pick.
Winner Prediction: Murphy retains the Title.
8) Rusev vs Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE United States Championship)
It has been confirmed that we are getting Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev at the Royal Rumble for the United States Championship.
WWE confirmed on Smackdown that this match will be taking place on the kickoff show of the event. I think that it will be the second match of the kickoff show, after the Cruiserweight Title bout.
This should be a solid match. Nakamura and Rusev seem to have some good chemistry with one another. I think that Rusev will retain the Title in a fun match.
Winner Prediction: Rusev retains the Title.
7) The Bar vs Shane McMahon and The Miz (Smackdown Tag Team Championships)
It was confirmed that we will be getting the Bar vs the Miz and Shane McMahon at the Rumble for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles.
This should be a fun match. It will be interesting to see how the Miz and Shane do in their first major test as a tag team.
My gut says that Shane and the Miz will be winning the belts here. This just seems to be where this storyline is heading.
Winner Prediction: Shane and the Miz win the Titles.
