5) Bayley vs Lacey Evans
— Smackdown Women’s Championship (CONFIRMED)
WWE has officially confirmed that Bayley and Lacey Evans will be facing off at the Royal Rumble PPV. This will be for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. This comes after Lacey defeated Bayley in their non-title match on Smackdown a few weeks ago.
This should be a decent match for the card. I don’t think that it will steal the show but it should be solid.
Winner Prediction:
- I am going with Bayley winning. I see her holding the Title until Wrestlemania 36, so I doubt that she drops the belt to Lacey here. Plus, I am hoping that Sasha Banks vs Bayley happens at Wrestlemania 36, so Bayley needs to win to keep that dream alive.
4) Sheamus vs Shorty G
— Singles Match (CONFIRMED)
WWE has officially confirmed that Shorty G and Sheamus will be facing off at the Royal Rumble PPV.
I am a bit surprised that WWE is doing this match at the PPV and not on an episode of Smackdown. Still, it should end up being solid. It might end up being the quickest match of the night though.
Winner Prediction:
- Sheamus is definitely winning. He just made his return and I doubt that WWE will have him lose already.
