WWE Rumor Killer On A Graphic Leaking a Big Main Event For Elimination Chamber

On Tuesday, a graphic leaked online that was advertising a big match for the upcoming Elimination Chamber PPV. John Cena vs AJ Styles in a 2 out 3 falls match for the WWE World Championship. It was being rumored that Ticketmaster had accidentally ‘leaked’ the match when advertising Elimination Chamber tickets.

There was a ton of speculation if the image was real or fake. Speculation was heightened when John Cena announced on Smackdown Live that he would be challenging AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble for the title. This would mean that Cena either be winning the title at the Rumble or Styles would win by disqualification, leading to the 2 out of 3 falls match at Elimination Chamber.

Here was the graphic that was reportedly leaked, which looks to be fake:

Dave Meltzer was asked about the image and it’s validity. On twitter he says that WWE officials are saying that it is fake:

It looks like we can kill this rumor, for now at least. WWE changes their plans very often so it will be interesting to see what happens at the Rumble and at Elimination Chamber. Will this graphic be close to the actual storyline that happens? I guess we will have to wait and find out.
