WWE Rumor On Seth Rollins After The RAW Injury Update This Week

News broke about Seth Rollins re-injuring his knee on last weeks episode of RAW at the hands of Samoa Joe. One of the biggest storylines in WWE right now involves Seth Rollins and his potential match against Triple H at Wrestlemania 33.  That match is in jeopardy.

WWE provided an injury ‘update’ on RAW, letting fans know that he tore his MCL. This wasn’t news to many (hardcore) fans like myself who have been checking up with the latest news on a daily basis. It was reported last week that Rollins could be out for 8 weeks with the injury.

During WWE’s update, they said that Rollins’ status for Wrestlemania 33 is in jeopardy. Corey Graves mentioned that he might not make it back in time. It is being rumored that WWE is covering all of their bases regarding Seth’s injury. They don’t want to fully commit to the match at Wrestlemania 33 in case his recovery is going slower than usual. That is why we didn’t hear a more definitive update on this weeks episode of RAW.

An MCL injury can range from a few weeks (if it is a grade one) to a few months (if it is a grade three). It is unclear right now how severe the injury to Seth is but it is being reported that he made a second visit to Birmingham, Alabama to get his knee looked at on Monday.

So what does this mean moving forward? WWE will likely wait things out over the next few weeks and see how his recovery goes. Don’t be surprised if they don’t mention it for the next few weeks on WWE TV as they let things play out.
