News broke a few days ago that WWE is potentially planning a Champion vs Champion match at Survivor Series. That match is WWE Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar vs WWE Champion: Jinder Mahal.
Let’s take a look at another big match that could potentially happen at Survivor Series.
Survivor Series 2017 Rumor
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the Four Horsewomen of MMA have been undergoing some “extensive training for wrestling of late”. This group includes Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler (who recently signed to WWE), Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. WWE has been teasing a future match between The Four Horsewomen of MMA and the Four Horsewomen of WWE (Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch).
According to Meltzer, Rousey has been training with Brian Kendrick. Marina Shafir (who is also the fiancé of NXT star Roderick Strong) has been training in Florida.
Since it would be a four on four match, Survivor Series is certainly a possibility. If not Survivor Series, it seems like WWE might be holding onto this one for Wrestlemania 34. We will have to wait and see.
Regardless, it does look like the Four Horsewomen match will be happening at some point.
