The “Ultimate Deletion” match aired on Monday Night RAW this week. The match ended with Bray Wyatt being pinned by Matt Hardy and getting thrown into the Lake of Reincarnation.
Here is the latest rumor floating around about Bray following the “Ultimate Deletion” match.
It is being rumored that Bray Wyatt will be getting repackaged when he returns to WWE Television. Him falling into the Lake Of Reincarnation seems to be a hint that he will be getting some sort of character change moving forward.
Dave Meltzer commented on the topic on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here). Here is what he said (h/t to Ringside News):
“So, I guess he’s going to come back different. I think it’s been maybe a year of needing repackaging. I don’t know what he’ll do but hopefully, it’s something completely different because that other character ran it’s course a long time ago.”

The question is, what will Bray return as? Will WWE turn him into a ‘Woken’ Warrior alongside Matt Hardy and Brother Nero? Will he go back to Husky Harris? Will it be a long-term character change or something just for the short-term?
A lot of questions still to be answered but should be fun to see what happens. I can’t disagree with Meltzer though about Bray. He needs some sort of character reset and this seems to be the perfect opportunity.
