Rumors Of The Day (February 9th, 2018)
– Dave Meltzer says that Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka was the plan at Wrestlemania 34 for the Smackdown Women’s title as of a week ago. Asuka hasn’t declared which title that she is challenging for after her Royal Rumble victory.
– Meltzer also says that Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax was the plan for the RAW Women’s Title as of a week ago.
– Sports Illustrated says that the Corey Graves-Booker T beef is a work. This is designed to get some extra heel heat on Graves and also to give some extra publicity to Booker’s radio show.
– There were some rumors a few weeks ago that former WWE star Serena Deeb was returning to the company. This was confirmed by WWE on Thursday but she won’t be returning as a performer. She was announced as the newest coach at the WWE Performance Center.
