Rumors Of The Day (February 8th, 2018)
– Tyler Bate seemingly responded to the rumors of him having backstage heat in WWE. He Tweeted: “People love making things up 😂”
– There is a rumor making the rounds that the reason why Elias pinned John Cena this week is because WWE is building up the Drifter as a threat heading into the Elimination Chamber. He is also expected to face off against John Cena at a later date since they both now have pins against one another.
– There are some rumors floating around that the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be getting a big push after Wrestlemania. This will coincide with the HBO Sports documentary on Andre which premieres after the event. If the documentary does well, it could lead to more projects between WWE and HBO in the future. WWE will want to push the match and the winner.
– The Battle Royal is also rumored to be making the main card of Wrestlemania 34. Last year, it was featured on the kickoff show.
