Rumors Of The Day (April 14th, 2018)
– According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Vince McMahon is very high on Baron Corbin. Meltzer says that outside of the current crop of talent in the main event scene, Vince sees Corbin as a “future major player”. While saying that, there were rumors of Corbin receiving a major push last year but WWE didn’t end up pulling the trigger.
The rumor comes after a recent advertisement for the Extreme Rules PPV had Corbin listed in the WWE Title match against AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

– Meltzer also says that Orlando is making a big play to host WrestleMania again in a couple of years. The years mentioned are for either Wrestlemania 39 (2023) or 41 (2025). Orlando hosted Wrestlemania 33 last year.
