We have seen a ton of speculation over the past few months when it comes to the Undertaker’s opponent at Wrestlemania 33. A lot of fans wanted the Undertaker vs John Cena, but this was shut down last week after Vince McMahon reportedly changed his mind about the potential match.

So who will the Deadman face on the grandest stage of them all?
On an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here) last week, Dave Meltzer didn’t mention a specific opponent for the Undertaker at Wrestlemania but he did help paint a picture about who it could be.
He says that the Undertaker will likely be facing an opponent from the RAW brand. Also, he will likely not be winning the Royal Rumble match and going for the title. If you are thinking of Braun Strowman (which WWE teased on RAW last week by showing him backstage) there are reportedly other plans for Braun that don’t involve the Deadman.
Our speculation: By process of elimination, that means he will likely be facing a RAW star, not for the title and not Braun Strowman. Lets lay out some options.

Many fans will likely immediately jump to Roman Reigns as a potential opponent. This is an option if he loses at the Rumble. This would be considered a big match, without the title on the line.
There are also some rumors about Finn Balor upon his return as an opponent for the Undertaker. He would qualify as a RAW star and this would be a pretty big match.
It will be interesting to see what happens. I am still personally convinced that it will end up being Strowman vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania. What about you?
