For the past three years, WWE has run Summerslam weekend at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. WWE will be returning in 2018 to the arena, making it four straight years.
We have a new rumor to share with you about Summerslam weekend in 2019.
With Wrestlemania 35 coming to the New York, New Jersey area in 2019, it is expected that Summerslam will move away from Brooklyn.
The @Wrestlevotes account (which has broken a few stories in the past) suggests that the event could also potentially move to a baseball stadium:
SummerSlam, and the surrounding weekend events, are moving on from Brooklyn after this upcoming year. Location still TBD, but high probability of SummerSlam being held at a stadium venue. Likely a MLB stadium.
