Here are some of the top candidates who could become the next winner of the United States Championship.
5) Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe has been off television for almost two months now. This comes after he was injured and suspended 30 days for violating WWE’s wellness policy. Before he was injured, Joe was one of the top babyfaces on RAW, which has me thinking that he could be the guy to take the United States Championship off Andrade.
I could definitely see Joe returning to RAW over the next little while and starting a feud with Andrade and his new faction (Angel Garza and Austin Theory). Joe was feuding with Seth Rollins and his faction a few months ago, so this would be a similar storyline to that.
If this does happen, Joe could eventually face Andrade at a PPV. I would definitely love to see a PPV match between them as I think that it could be really good. Joe would also be a solid pick as the next United States Champion.
4) Rey Mysterio
There is no question that Rey Mysterio and Andrade have a long history with one another. We have seen them face off on multiple occasions. I am sure that we will eventually see Mysterio feud with Andrade and his new faction.
I am never going to complain about more matches between Mysterio and Andrade. I would also love to see Mysterio vs Angel Garza and Mysterio vs Austin Theory. Mysterio getting involved in the United States Title feud would give us a ton of these fun matches over the next few months.
I think that Rey has a decent chance to take the belt off Andrade.
