WWE began a tournament to crown a new United States Champion on Smackdown Live last week. This came after Dolph Ziggler left the title in the middle of the ring before walking out. Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal both won their matches on Smackdown to advance to the next round in the tournament.

WWE released the bracket which reveals two more matches: Mojo Rawley vs Zack Ryder and Xavier Woods vs Aiden English.
What a lot of fans seemed to have missed during the bracket release was that the Royal Rumble logo was on it. We can assume that this means the Rumble will feature the final match of the tournament to crown the new Champion. Here is how we think that the rest of the tournament will go.
1) Zack Ryder will defeat Mojo Rawley. This will come from a roll-up, where Ryder gets lucky. As a result, Mojo will end up attacking Ryder during his next-round match against Bobby Roode. This extends the Mojo-Ryder feud and Roode advances to the finals.
2) Going to say Xavier Woods defeats Aiden English. Jinder defeats Woods in the next round to advance to the finals. I would be shocked if Jinder isn’t in the finals of this tournament after being WWE Champion for several months.
3) Roode vs Jinder is the final match at the Royal Rumble. Going to say that Roode ends up winning here.
4) Dolph Ziggler returns on Smackdown and claims that he is the true U.S Champion, leading to a title vs title ladder match.
