3) Some Excellent Storylines

Another reason to look forward to Wrestlemania this year is WWE’s excellent job at booking (some of) their storylines long-term.

That means that the Wrestlemania payoff is going to be fantastic to see all of these storylines that have been building over the past year conclude.

Some examples of long-term booking:

– Seth Rollins vs Triple H – Triple H turned on Rollins on an episode of RAW after Summerslam, costing him the WWE Universal Title. Before that, Triple H brought in Rollins to break-up the Shield back in 2014.

– Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton – Randy joined the Wyatt Family for several months, plotting from within and eventually broke up the Family from the inside.

– Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens – The incredible friendship of KO and Jericho over the past year, that lead to a break-up that everyone knew was coming. It was still awesome.

Some great storylines that we will see come to a conclusion at Wrestlemania. We don’t often see storylines like these that have a lot of depth. This should make the matches at Wrestlemania 33 that much more exciting when they happen.

Some of the other storylines might suck but there are at least some very interesting ones heading into the event.
