Ryback has been very vocal about WWE since he left the company in 2016. On his podcast: Conversations with the Big Guy, Ryback had some harsh words for John Cena. We previously have heard Ryback say John Cena was responsible for killing the Nexus. He took it a step further this week.
Ryback says that Cena has been a piece of “S***” to him since day one. He says that Cena is responsible for Alex Riley being released because of personal issues that he had with him . He doesn’t go into detail about the issues and says that he will let Riley be the one to explain. He says that when fans find out what really happened, they are going to lose their minds.
He does say that when Riley was wrestling:
“John would sit back there and bury Riley in front of everyone, for no reason”.
Ryback also calls Cena ‘poison’:
“He’s been poison to the wrestling industry… This is my opinion, but I think I’m pretty accurate on this. I think He did so much harm for so long to new talent that was breaking out up there and I had my experiences up there and other talent had their experiences”

Ryback says that Triple H has started to protect his NXT guys from the backstage politicking of Cena that went on for so long.
