Triple H Quotes From Wrestlers Who Hate Him

4) Billy Gunn

Billy Gunn was a member of one of the greatest factions in WWE history: D-Generation X alongside Triple H. You might not know that Billy Gunn wasn’t the biggest fan of his fellow faction mate and had a lot of not-so-kind things to say about him.

In a 2005 shoot interview after Gunn was released by the WWE, he took a number of shots at Triple H:

“Let me just set everybody straight real fast, yeah, people are scared to talk about him, they won’t talk about him because he’s got all the power there. It was never a vendetta; it’s just he’s a piece of sh*t. Nobody’s got the spot he’s got because he’s an a**-kisser and I was never that” ” (Source: Wrestleview).

He continued his rant:

“It’s evil up there and he’s an evil person. When you’re up there…everybody knows that he runs the show and if he doesn’t like it, or he doesn’t like you, he’ll say one thing in front of you, but he’ll turn right around and stab you right in the back” (Source: Wrestleview).

Gunn later apologized for his comments and said he was in a bad place at the time. He came back to work for WWE years later as a trainer and it looks like they have patched things up.

3) Ken Shamrock

It has been long rumored that Ken Shamrock and Triple H are not fond of one another. Not exactly sure why but the two have had some longstanding heat and Shamrock has taken some shots at Triple H in his post-WWE life.

Shamrock spoke about Triple H’s massive ego when asked about him running WWE in the future:

“Here’s a guy that has a huge ego. He has a hard time with putting anybody over and let alone outside the business when someone like Brock Lesnar would have to hurt him. His ego wouldn’t let him walk around in a sling. He wants people to know it’s entertainment unless he’s the one doing it then he wants you to walk around in a leg cast. This is what i see the problem is and I’ve been pretty critical about it. You’ve got somebody in that position that’s got too big of an ego to run a company like that” (Source: The Shoot).

He continued:

“Hunter goes to extreme lengths to look good, to be big and cut and make sure he’s on the cover of the muscle magazine and make sure he’s in fitness things. He’s the guy who’s putting himself in the forefront. For anybody to run a company like the WWE, you can’t be that guy. You’ve got too much talent out there for you to put yourself out there in front of them” (Source: The Shoot).

That is probably the nicest way I have ever seen someone insult another person lol. The moral of the story is that he thinks WWE will fail under his guidance due to Triple H’s ego.
