Match of The Year
Our Winner: Sami Zayn vs Shinsuke Nakamura – NXT Takeover: Dallas.
This is the category that will have the most discrepancy between readers. A match can be incredible to me but not very good to you and vise versa. Zayn vs Nakamura is my personal choice.
As someone who didn’t watch a lot of Nakamura’s work before he came to WWE, I was hooked on him as soon as he made his entrance.
It was clear that Nakamura was important and it showed. Both Nakamura and Zayn put on an incredible and hard-hitting match. We saw both give it everything they could.
The best part for me was the match had no title on the line, no stipulations. Just a good old-fashioned wrestling match. It kept me hooked from start to finish and I left incredibly impressed by both guys.
