Not even a question, the newcomer of the year award goes to AJ Styles. Ever since he made his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, he has made an impact.
He began with a feud with Chris Jericho. He jumped into the WWE Title picture and had some great matches against Roman Reigns. He feuded with John Cena and eventually became the WWE World Champion.
Has there been a faster rise to prominence in WWE history than AJ Styles in 2016? In a year time, he has become the face that runs the place.
